After reading all 8 of my previous in order, I have learned that I am not so private about my life. I always though about myself as being one who does not talk about themselves, or their lives a lot. But through these blog posts, I have opened more than ever before.
Over the past 8 weeks, I became more personal with each blog post. As each week has come and gone, I have become more comfortable. I have been able to connect with my personal life better and better as each week passed.
My blog posts have developed them becoming longer with ease. I would just write rather than worrying about the 300 word minimum. My posts would exceed 300 words without effort and thought. This was greatly different than my first few blog posts. My first few blog posts were barely above 3o0 words and what I wrote was dictated by how many words I needed to write.
My strongest blog post over the past 8 weeks was blog post 7- choosing a white prompt. I believe this was my strongest blog post because I could relate to it more than any other blog post. Blog post 7 also required creativity by drawing pictures and et cetera.
My weakest blog post was blog post 6- writing about a significant quote. I had trouble with this blog post because I could not find a perfect quote. And when I thought I found the right quote, it didn’t end up working as well as I hoped but it was late and I was tired.
The hardest blog post for me was the vlog. I do not like being behind the camera because I feel shy and don’t act like myself. This made blog post 5 especially hard. It was easier when I had friends in the film with me, but when it was just me behind the camera it was very awkward.
That is something I would have to decide in the future. I would only write a memoir if my life is interesting enough to have a good memoir written about it. My life is super boring right now so if it keeps up, you’ll be seeing no memoir from me. But the future is uncertain and anything can happen so that question is unable to be answered at this point in time.
